Aquarium Buildings

In the fall of 2022, the most important conference for aquarium experts worldwide will open in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France: The 11th International Aquarium Congress will take place in the Nausicaá, one of the largest buildings of its kind. Just in time for this event, our handbook Aquarium Buildings has just been published in English. Due to climate change and increased environmental awareness, marine museums and aquariums are currently experiencing a boom. This complex building task presents architects with great challenges - especially with regard to interior design in the face of a high degree of mechanization.
